Today I made the decision to commit to the one year MSc program in Clinical Neuroscience instead of the two year program, mostly so that I can jump straight into a PhD program after I’ve completed the Masters.
Also because of money (travel expenses, living expenses, the (multi)occasional pint, the (multi)occasional Sunday pub brunch, the coffee I will want from Costa on a quater-weekly basis, Waitrose produce, etc.). Also for fear of two-year-commitments. Also for fear of my probably sub-par level of fluency in French that is likely not nearly sufficient enough to feel comfortable in French courses and French labs and French professors and French French French.
As such, I bid thee, Mr. Second Year In Paris, adieu.
Exhale.
Decisions.
